Sum of two waves
In this applet you can choose the amplitude, frequency and initial phase of two electromagnetic waves (we are in the range of radio waves) and see the shape of their sum wave. Try to adjust the values. What happens when the frequencies are very similar? What if they are very different? And what if the amplitudes are not equal?

Notes:
- Here we are only showing the electric component of the wave, whose unit of measure is V/m (Volt per meter), but (as the name suggests) electromagnetic waves also have a magnetic component, whose unit of mesure is T (Tesla).
- There is a time speed factor of 0.00000001 in the animation, which means that one second in
the animation corresponds to ten nanoseconds in the real world.
